Minha Família!
-This week Adriana And João were baptized!! Só alegria. Some of Adriana´s family went to the baptism, which was great so that they could feel the spirit. Her sister Jackie has been coming to church with her husband Sergio and daughter Diuly! We are finally going to set a date for their baptism today... getting this family rolling!
We did a Family Night with them last Monday and they adored it. They especialy love how much the church is concerned with families. I have such a testimony of doing Family Night each and every week. It is an essencial part to strengthening home and family. It is a time to invite the spirit into your home, to open up and understand one another. It is also a time to realize how increadily blessed we are to have our families, and to recognize the good in each and every member of the family.
Remember that Satan is always trying to attack families. Don´t let him in. If you are each day reading the scriptures with your family, praying together, and having good communication, he will not be able to enter.
-One night Sister and I came home to our appartment, to......my clothes dangling in the trees!!! There was a big rain storm, and my clothes that were drying on hung up strings, flew out of the third-story window. My clothes also were in the entre of the apartment. oops. things happen, just need to laugh about it!
-During church some rascal came into the chapel and stole all of the umbrellas...the President of the Branch thinks it´s the same men who come in to beg for food.
-Love this quote from Elder Holland, "Make no mistake about it. Whether you are a fulltime missionary or not, all Latter-Day Saints are called to take the message of the Lord Jesus Christ to 'all the world' (matt.24:14). If you would be the servents of God that you are called to be, you must be ready to do so"
It´s true. We all play a part in Heavenly Father purpose "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (moses 1:39<x-apple-data-detectors://2>) More happiness awaits you than you have ever experiencesd as you labor among His children.
Love you all!
Sister Hannah
