Hey Family!

During the week so many amazing things happen, and I always have the biggest urge to share everything first with my family. I make sure to write alot of things down because I want all of you to have a part in my increadbile journey as Christ´s represenative. I love being around so many great families, but I can´t help but miss my own...know that I love you all with all my heart. I think and and pray for you always!

Anways, the highlight of this week was the visit from Elder Todd Christofferson! What a privlage to have an apostle of the Lord here in my mission! Our whole mission, Brasil Porto Alegre Norte, was also joined with the mission Brasil Porto Alegre Sul, and it seems like there was millions of missionaries. It was such a powerful, and testimony building experience for me. Everyone left the meeting saying, "that is exactly what I needed to hear". I know that God calls his servents to guide and help us return to his presence.

Here are some highlights:

-First of all the reunion was started by singing "Povos da Terra, Vinde Escutai". (Don´t remember the name in english...) but it made me feel so greatful to be apart of the grown of the restored gospel here in Brazil. It is so special as a missionary to offer the celestial kingdom to God´s children. I thought alot about how this missioary work is so sacred. He God trusts US to work in the sacred things of His kingdom.

-Learn to do hard things. Look to build and strengthen your testimony. Become BETTER than yesterday. Don´t let the time pass by. Work harder than ever. Do all you can.

-Dilligence= the ability to keep going. Because of the savior, we can go throughout life failing, and failing WITHOUT losing entusiasm. As a missionary we are rejected everyday, people who slam the doors in our face. But, we keep going with excitement and hope! The savior makes this possible.

-Heavenly Father will give you what you are prepared to recieve

-To know the Lords will, you need to be prepared to do it. "Thy will will be done" needs to be written in your heart.

Don´t have time to write the rest...so lets just say that this was part 1 of what Elder Christofferson had to say. Part 2 next week...haha

Loving life. I can´t say it enough. Christ lives. He sees you. He loves you. And is greatful for your efforts! Make him proud!

Love,
Sister Hannah

Minha Família!

-This week Adriana And João were baptized!! Só alegria. Some of Adriana´s family went to the baptism, which was great so that they could feel the spirit. Her sister Jackie has been coming to church with her husband Sergio and daughter Diuly! We are finally going to set a date for their baptism today... getting this family rolling!

We did a Family Night with them last Monday and they adored it. They especialy love how much the church is concerned with families. I have such a testimony of doing Family Night each and every week. It is an essencial part to strengthening home and family. It is a time to invite the spirit into your home, to open up and understand one another. It is also a time to realize how increadily blessed we are to have our families, and to recognize the good in each and every member of the family.
Remember that Satan is always trying to attack families. Don´t let him in. If you are each day reading the scriptures with your family, praying together, and having good communication, he will not be able to enter.

-One night Sister and I came home to our appartment, to......my clothes dangling in the trees!!! There was a big rain storm, and my clothes that were drying on hung up strings, flew out of the third-story window. My clothes also were in the entre of the apartment. oops. things happen, just need to laugh about it!

-During church some rascal came into the chapel and stole all of the umbrellas...the President of the Branch thinks it´s the same men who come in to beg for food.

-Love this quote from Elder Holland, "Make no mistake about it. Whether you are a fulltime missionary or not, all Latter-Day Saints are called to take the message of the Lord Jesus Christ to 'all the world' (matt.24:14). If you would be the servents of God that you are called to be, you must be ready to do so"

It´s true. We all play a part in Heavenly Father purpose "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (moses 1:39<x-apple-data-detectors://2>) More happiness awaits you than you have ever experiencesd as you labor among His children.

Love you all!

Hey Family!

Here are some highlights of this week:

-Peanutbutter and jelly sandwhiches for breakfast everyday

-Leadership meeting in Porto Alegre. Looks like Campo Bom had the highest number of investigators at church  in the month of February than any other area in the misson! And all thanks to the members here. Or job is to help the members succeed with their missionary work.

-We had another member reference: Ariane. She is soooooo ready for the restored gospel. We taught her the restoration and she was beaming. At the end of our first lesson with her, I shot out the baptismal invite. Carlos(member who gave us her referal) looked at me like I was crazy, and I he began to sweat and get all nervous, waiting for her response. hahha....funny that Ariane happily said YES i want to be baptized. Carols let out the biggest grin. We thanked him so much for trusting in us to teach his friend. Ariane went to church sunday, and we are preparing for yet another wedding and baptism in 30 days!

-This week I was reflecting a lot about my last area and how it was one of the harest 4 1/2 months for me. My companions and I were working so hard, praying with intensity, and doing all we could, but the baptisms didn´t come. I am coming to realize that at times, Heavenly Father gives us one challenge after another to test our faith. He wants to know if we truely depend on him, and trust in him more than we trust in ourselves. I bear my testimony that when we continue on through the rough times,. the fruits come in HIS time. The fruits are arriving, and I feel my Heavenly Fathers love more strongly each and everyday. To me, there is no feeling more special than the feeling that heavenly father is proud of you. I want to do all I possibly can to dedicate everything to him in these 18months. 24 hours each day is a blessing and a privlage to do the lords work and be an active instrument in his hands. So, keep trying. And don´t loose hope! Heavenly Father knows what you are passing, and he will bless your effors and hard work!

So many weddings and baptisms down the road. Pure joy!

Have patience, blessings come in the time of the Lord!

I am so proud to have the Savior's name over my heart. I will do all I possibly can to keep his trust in me, to help his prepared children here in Campo Bom!

Love you family! You give me so much strength. Miss youuuu
